The DNA Diagnostics Centre is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. It is one of the most highly accredited genetic testing laboratories in the world. All Peekaboo samples are analysed at their state-of-the-art laboratory by an all-female team. Female scientists isolate cell-free fetal DNA from the mother’s blood, followed by amplification of both Y-chromosome and autosomal-specific regions using the latest quantitative real-time PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) technology. Urine does not contain sex hormones and there is no scientific basis for these types of tests.

The presence of sex hormones is necessary for any reliable and scientifically-sound gender test. Peekaboo DNA based gender prediction tests analyse the cell-free fetal DNA (cffDNA) to look for the presence of the Y chromosome in the DNA contained in the mother’s blood, which determines whether the mother is having a boy or a girl.

Your phlebotomist will put your blood sample into a pre-paid envelope, which you can post using your most convenient post office. The blood sample will be sent to our London office, then forwarded to the DDC Laboratory in the USA for analysis.

Our approved, highly trained phlebotomists only use very fine needles, which means minimal discomfort during your blood draw.

Please ensure you are well hydrated, having eaten and done some mild exercise prior to your appointment with your Peekaboo Pro Phlebotomist. This will optimise blood flow and lead to a more efficient blood draw. If you have a history of difficult blood draws, please share this information with your phlebotomist when scheduling your appointment. Your phlebotomist is specially trained to draw blood from all types of patients using the most current equipment & safest techniques. Our phlebotomists are specially trained in DNA sample collection, which is slightly different to a regular blood draw. Due to the sensitive nature of DNA sample collection, unfortunately, only our approved phlebotomists will be able to activate your test kit and these are the only professionals that can take your blood and send it to our laboratory in the

Your Peekaboo early gender test kit is sent to you from the Baby Gender Reveal office in the UK, and will arrive with you within 1-2 business days. You will receive notification with the tracking information when the kit is mailed to you.

All Peekaboo kits are sent back to our London office via Royal Mail

Remember to ask for your tracking receipt at the post office prior to mailing, which will enable you to track the parcel using the unique return tracking number on the Royal Mail site.

The London office then ship your package using FedEx (freight forwarder) to Peekaboo Labs in the US, which takes one business day. We do not provide tracking information for this portion of the return. You’ll receive a “sample arrived” email the day it arrives at the Peekaboo Labs, and your gender results will follow within 24 hours after that email.

Don’t worry, this portion of your parcel’s journey is not trackable

didn’t match our result analysis report, please scan or photograph your baby’s
